True enough... Facebook, the only thing nice about it is being able to stay in contact with friends. Posting and stuff? Nah.

none of my friends have that....so I never have to worry about posting (heck my one friend is just like me--no cell phone, so....). I stay in contact the old fashioned way...meet people, call them

yes, actually use the phone for its intended purpose (though in all fairness its the only smart thing my phone can do

Facebook got big when I started college, so everyone seems to have it. Though I don't use it much. And to stay in touch generally texting is the way to go. Mainly because you can text someone and they can get back to you when they are free, instead of playing phone tag.

well, email is what I use for those people---they will reply when they get to it, only call my local (male) friend since he does not seem to check his emails.

Quicker response through text, emails are what I send for more professional stuff. But they do work for working out times for hanging out and such.

(and my hubbys phone is so old now, they (phone co) tell him either get a new one or you're gone).

Maybe someday we will be able to text on old rotary phones... The other persons text will come in as morse code that you will have to decipher. That could be fun!

I didn't know that a phone co could tell you to get a new phone or they would cancel your plan. Seems anti-productive if you are a paying customer.

they are no longer going to support his phone (like MS doesnt support xp etc)...and it keeps 'losing' functions...like internet (gone), text message (usually garbled), still works as a phone though!

yeah, sprint did the same to us with long distance---they decided they no longer wished to have our business so ended our long distance service (ok guess they ended ALL long distance services except businesses, but still)...which is why I wont use them for ANY kind of service in the future.
